Luncheon raises $110, 000 for Vancouver School District

Esther Short — Cuisine prepared by student chefs and a surprise flash mob performance by 90 local students were highlights of the annual Vancouver School District Foundation luncheon June 2 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. The Foundation raised more than $110,000, the most contributions donated in the history of the annual event. Fort Vancouver High School culinary arts students prepared the luncheon buffet. Performers came from Felida Elementary School, Thomas Jefferson Middle School and the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics.
