Secret File wins Churchill feature

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Secret File passed Street Storm and Heavenly Landing inside the eighth pole to win by 1 14 lengths in the $63,038 feature Thursday at Churchill Downs.

Secret File, a 4-year-old daughter of Smart Strike ridden by Jon Court, was last in the field of five before taking aim at the leaders and drawing even in the stretch.

She paid $6.60, $3.80 and $3, while Street Storm, who finished eighth in the Grade I Kentucky Oaks in her last start, returned $3.40 and $3.20. Heavenly Landing paid $3.20 to show.

Secret File, owned by the Robert B. and Beverly J. Lewis Trust, earned $39,060 for the win, her third in eight lifetime starts for a career total of $98,126.
