FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) — A Federal Way man who was acquitted of a murder charge in his wife’s death is rebuilding his life after two years in jail.

The News Tribune reports 64-year-old Joseph Naimo was welcomed by family members Wednesday after he walked out of jail following the not guilty verdict. He says his wife committed suicide with strychnine.

Naimo lost his home to foreclosure while he was behind bars. His belongings are in a storage locker. He has to retake the driver’s test to get his license.

On Monday he plans to return to his job as manager of a pest control business in Kent.
