3 rescued after vessel capsizes off Ore. coast

ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) — The Coast Guard rescued three people after their vessel capsized off Port Orford, Ore.

After receiving a distress call around 8 a.m. Saturday, a helicopter crew spotted three people clinging to their overturned boat about 10 miles off shore.

The Coast Guard says in a release that a lifeboat rescued the three, who were checked out by medics and found to be in good condition.
