Augustus leads Lynx to 5th consecutive victory

ATLANTA (AP) — Seimone Augustus scored 19 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Atlanta Dream 77-64 on Sunday for their fifth straight victory after a season-opening loss.

Augustus was 7 of 13 from the field and had six rebounds. She had 25 points Friday night in the Lynx’s home victory over the Dream. Lindsay Whalen added 13 points, rookie Maya Moore had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Rebekkah Brunson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Lindsey Harding led Atlanta (1-5) with 14 points. Angel McCoughtry, Erika DeSouza and Coco Miller each scored 10 points.
