PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The skeletal remains found in a shallow Clackamas County creek have been identified as the remains of a 13-year-old girl reported missing by her parents in 2007.

The girl was not identified by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. Her death is being classified as a suicide.

When she was reported missing on Oct. 18, 2007, her parents also said a large amount of pharmaceutical pills was taken from their residence.

The girl was diagnosed with manic-depression.
