WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Nationals have activated left-hander Tom Gorzelanny from the 15-day disabled list, and he’s scheduled to start Sunday’s game against Baltimore.
Gorzelanny, who had been on the DL since May 24 with an inflamed left elbow, is 2-4 with a 4.25 ERA.
The Nationals placed OF Rick Ankiel on the DL with a strain of muscles on the left side of his rib cage. The move is retroactive to June 15. He’s batting .204 with a home run and nine RBIs.
