EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Relatives and friends plan a candlelight vigil for a 20-year-old Springfield, Ore., man killed in a personal watercraft crash.
KEZI says the vigil for Shea Slayton is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on the North Eugene High School football field.
Lane County sheriff’s deputies say Slayton was killed Saturday at the Blue River Reservoir north of Springfield when his watercraft slammed into a tree stump sticking four feet out of the water.
