MacKay & Sposito Inc. Chief Executive Officer Al Schauer will retire later this month, the Vancouver engineering, planning and consulting company announced.
Schauer’s legacy includes countless projects throughout the region, including the Columbia Tech Center in east Vancouver. He has held a range of jobs for the company, from office manager to president. He was succeeded as president by Tim Schauer in 2009.
