LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — The husband of Kansas softball coach Megan Smith has died.
The university says Paul Buske died Tuesday after a bout with cancer. He was 40.
In a statement, athletics director Sheahon Zenger described Buske as a “terrific husband” to Smith and father to their son, Cooper. Zenger says Buske was a “spirited, supportive fan of Kansas softball.”
