Letter: Keep Congress contained

Published: June 20, 2011, 5:00pm

In one recent poll, I heard that Congress had an approval rating of 9 percent. A first I thought we should replace the entire lot, but on further reflection, and for two reasons, we should leave them where they are:

  1. It’s apparent they are in training and unable to conceive of the idea that sometimes simple is better. Just look at the size of the Obamacare bill.

  2. We know where they are and they should stay there, for they would be dangerous if out in industry.
