SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Police say they have tracked down two men suspected of robbing two other men and shooting one early Tuesday in Salem.

The victims say they were confronted by two men in a car in a parking lot before 4 a.m. and robbed at gunpoint. One of the victims was shot in the torso. The robbers drove off.

Police spotted the car, and after a short chase the suspects abandoned it and tried to flee. One was caught nearby and the other was located with the help of a police dog.

Police say the wounded man is expected to recover.
