SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Salem police say they’ve arrested a woman who apparently drove through a parking lot with a person clinging to the hood of her car.
Police say three people tried to leave a T-Shirt Outlet with stolen items after they were confronted by security. They got into a car but a store employee followed.
Some witnesses say the car hit the employee while others say the employee grabbed onto the car, trying to stop the suspects from driving off on Monday.
Lt. Dave Okada tells the Statesman Journal it appears that the car was driving around the parking lot with the employee hanging onto the hood.
