CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — A man charged with rape and sex abuse was acquitted in a trail before a judge in Corvallis.

The Gazette-Times reports 22-year-old Fernando Antonio Gonzalez of Hillsboro had been accused of raping a woman he met at a 2009 party.

Circuit Judge Locke Williams said Monday that everyone at the party was intoxicated and their testimony was inconsistent. The defense lawyer said the sex was consensual.
