YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A Walmart store in Yakima gave the police department a new computer to replace one the department had been using for eight years.

It recently crashed and the department says it did not have the resources for repairs or a replacement.

Police use the computer to investigate Internet crimes against children, forgery and other crimes using computers.
