ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Ricky Taylor captured his third straight pole in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series at Road America’s 4.048-mile road course on Friday.

Taylor, of Apopka, Fla., and co-driver Max Angelelli of Monaco will team Saturday in a Chevrolet/Dallara, trying to win a third consecutive race in the Daytona Prototype class.

Wayne Nonnamaker of Bend, Ore., earned the pole in the production-based GT class in a Mazda RX-8. It was his first Rolex Series pole since 2004.
