ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Pruett and co-driver Memo Rojas won the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race at Road America.

Eric Curran and John Heinricy won the GT class in a Corvette on Saturday in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

The race was marred by a spectacular crash that sent the Camaro driven by Gunter Schaldach tumbling over a catchfence and into a wooded area behind the first turn on the four-mile road course. Schaldach was uninjured.

Joe Foster, another driver in the wreck, was airlifted to a hospital with unspecified injuries. A series spokesman said Foster was awake and alert.
