Feel That Fire wins Monmouth feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Feel That Fire held off D’wild Ride in the stretch to win by three-quarters of length in the $75,000 Blue Sparkler Stakes at Monmouth Park.

The 4-year-old filly ridden by Jose Valdivia Jr. and trained by Gregg Sacco covered the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:09 1/5 and paid $6.40, $4 and $3.

D’wild Ride returned $4.20 and $3, while Bronx City Girl was another 334 lengths back in third and earned $2.60.

Feel That Fire has earned $146,080 while notching three wins in seven career stars.
