SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Padres have recalled right-hander Anthony Bass from Double-A San Antonio and optioned right-hander Evan Scribner to Triple-A Tucson.
Bass made his big league debut on June 13 at Coors Field and got the win in San Diego’s 3-1 victory, limiting Colorado to one run and five hits in five innings. He was optioned back to San Antonio the next day.
Scribner posted a 7.07 ERA in 10 appearances.
San Diego announced the move on Sunday.
