Letter: Experience is low priority with voters

Much is being made of who will be the Republican presidential candidate for 2012. As much as I would like to see a Republican in the White House happen, I doubt that it will. I believe that because there are too many people who will vote Democrat regardless of who is running. Experience and qualifications are irrelevant, as we saw in 2008. And, there are more Democrats than Republicans who vote that way.

Also, there is that segment of the electorate that rely on government social programs and fear they will end if Democrats are not elected. Which is probably true. God help us. I will, for the most part, be voting a conservative ticket when available.
