SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a suspect in an abduction and rape in Seattle was arrested at a bar Tuesday night when he was recognized from surveillance photos.
An employee of the Seattle bar called police who asked the suspect if he was the man in the surveillance photo. He said yes. When they arrested the 24-year-old, police found a loaded handgun in his waistband.
Police are still looking for a second suspect in the attack on two women in the early hours of June 21. One woman broke away. The men drove off with a 20-year-old woman who was sexually assaulted. Police say she also was hit in the mouth with a gun, knocking out a tooth.
