Educational Service District 112 board members have appointed Patricia C. “Trish” Kellogg to fill a vacant board seat, the agency said on Monday.

Her District 4 encompasses Ridgefield and the northern part of the Vancouver school district.

Kellogg has 27 years of experience in financial and administrative management, including work for higher education institutions, small businesses, manufacturing firms and nonprofit agencies.

She has worked the last 12 years at Washington State University Vancouver, as assistant to Chancellor Hal Dengerink and most recently as administrative manager for the Office of Academic Affairs.

Kellogg must seek election in January 2012 (a vote of board members in all area school districts) if she wants to complete the remaining two years of a four-year term.

The ESD 112 board provides policy guidance and oversight to the regional organization that serves 30 school districts and 26 private schools in Southwest Washington, with more than 100,000 students total.
