TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Trey Zeigler scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half as Central Michigan pulled away from Toledo for a 68-56 victory Tuesday night, sweeping the season series.

Central Michigan never trailed and led by as many as 11 in the first half before taking a 24-21 edge into the break.

The Chippewas shot 60 percent (12 of 20) and hit 18 of 23 free throws in the second half.

Jay Shunnar scored 20 points on 8-of-9 shooting for the Rockets (4-26, 1-14), who lost their 12th straight game.
