Jaguars drop playoff opener

The top-seeded Seattle Totems beat the River City Jaguars 4-1 on Tuesday in the opening game of the Northern Pacific Hockey League playoffs.

Game 2 of the best-of-5 series is at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Olympic View Ice Arena in Mountlake Terrace. Game 3 is at 8 p.m. on Friday at Mountain View Ice Arena in Vancouver.
