YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Authorities in Yakima County have arrested a suspect in connection with the bludgeoning deaths of three people last month.

The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office has not released any information on the suspect, but scheduled a news conference for later Wednesday.

The bodies of 61-year-old Bill Goggin, his wife, 60-year-old Pauline Goggin, and his 98-year-old mother, Bettye Goggin, were discovered at their home Feb. 18 in the gated Falcon Ridge community 10 miles west of Yakima.

Deputies went to the home after getting a call from a co-worker who was worried that William Goggin had not been at work Thursday.

An autopsy found the three died of blunt force trauma.
