NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops says reserve defensive back Marcus Trice plans to transfer to another school.

Stoops made the announcement Friday. He says Trice “is looking for another opportunity” and that Oklahoma coaches will do everything they can “to help him find a good situation.”

The sophomore from Mesquite, Texas, played in all 14 games last season for the Sooners, mostly on special teams. He had nine tackles and one forced fumble.
