TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The coordinator of pro scouting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been arrested on a DUI charge in Tampa, Fla.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office jail records show 39-year-old Shelton Quarles was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Friday on a ramp to Interstate 275.

Records indicate he refused to submit to testing and was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, where bail was set at $500.

Quarles was a linebacker for the Buccaneers from 1997 to 2006.

Jail records did not list an attorney for Quarles.
