EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Edmonton Oilers rookie star Taylor Hall will miss the rest of the season after injuring his left ankle in his first NHL fight.

An MRI Friday showed the 19-year-old Hall, the first overall pick in the June draft, sustained a high ankle sprain Thursday night when he fell at the end of the fight with Columbus forward Derek Dorsett.

Hall had a goal and assist before the second-period fight in a 4-2 victory over the Blue Jackets. He had 22 goals and 20 assists in 65 games this season.
