Princeton grabs share of women’s Ivy League title

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Devona Allgood had 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Princeton beat Dartmouth 81-42 on Friday night to clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title.

Lauren Edwards scored 14 and reserve Kristen Helmstetter added a season-high 12 points for the Tigers (22-5, 11-1), who built a 42-16 halftime lead and led by as much as 40.

Princeton can earn its second consecutive Ivy League crown and an automatic bid for the NCAA tournament with a victory over second-place Harvard on Saturday.

Janelle Ross scored 17 for the Big Green (7-19, 3-9), who have lost four straight against Princeton.
