Vancouver man arrested after allegedly driving 120 mph

A 19-year old Vancouver man was arrested Friday night when an Oregon State Police trooper stopped him after allegedly driving recklessly at speeds near 120 mph on Interstate 205 south of Portland.

At approximately 11:40 p.m. Friday an OSP trooper saw a gray 2003 Infiniti traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on Interstate 205 near Johnson Creek Boulevard. The car was then observed tailgating, cutting off another vehicle and the increasing its speed to approximately 120 mph south of Foster Road. The vehicle nearly rear-ended another vehicle before the trooper was able to stop it at the Foster Road exit.

Nikolay Belitskiy, age 19, from Vancouver was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail.
