IUPUI routs UMKC 79-55 in Summit quarterfinal

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Leroy Nobles scored a career-high 37 points to lead IUPUI to an easy 79-55 victory over UMKC in the Summit League tournament quarterfinals Sunday night.

Nobles was 11 for 17 from the field — 6 of 9 from 3-point range — for the third-seeded Jaguars (19-13), who will play second-seeded Oral Roberts in Monday night’s semifinals.

Stephen Thomas scored 15 points, Alex Young scored 12 and Christian Siakam had 10 points and 11 rebounds for IUPUI.

Bakari Lewis had 16 points for No. 6 seed UMKC (16-14), but was ejected with 1:08 to play.

Jay Couisnard scored 14 points and Reggie Chamberlain scored 12 for the Kangaroos, who jumped to a 13-3 lead before the Jaguars went on a 23-6 run to take the lead for good.
