AAA: Gas prices average $3.59 in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports gasoline prices average $3.59 a gallon for regular in Oregon.

That’s 8 cents higher than the national average, up 11 cents in a week, 35 cents in a month and 74 cents higher than a year ago in the state.

Some prices from the AAA survey Monday for metro areas in Oregon: Portland-Vancouver $3.58, Salem $3.55, Eugene-Springfield $3.63, and Medford-Ashland $3.67.
