VIERA, Fla. (AP) — Bryce Harper doubled twice and drove in two runs, Rick Ankiel hit a go-ahead homer in the eighth inning and the Washington Nationals rallied past the Houston Astros 14-9 Monday.

Houston pitcher Bud Norris cut short his outing because of a mildly strained right hamstring. He said he did not believe the injury was serious.

Norris, a member of the Astros’ rotation, worked in relief. He left with no outs in the seventh and a 1-2 count to Ankiel. In two-plus innings, Norris allowed two runs and struck out four.

Ryan Zimmerman also homered for Washington. Michael Bourn hit a solo homer and Chris Johnson had a three-run shot for the Astros.
