KENT, Wash. (AP) — A King County sheriff’s spokesman says three sets of human remains have been found at a plant nursery in Kent, Wash., south of Seattle. Sgt. Rodney Chinnick says detectives will be trying to determine whether the bodies might be the remains of three Pierce County men last seen in December when they left work at a Seattle florist shop.

The Seattle Times says a Rainier Nursery employee initially found the remains of two men Thursday while taking a customer to look at laurel plants at a remote spot on the 50-acre property.

The three missing men — 25-year-old Jesus Bejar Avila of Lakewood, 25-year-old Yazmany Quezada Ortiz of Tacoma and 19-year-old Christian Alberto Rangel of University Place — were last seen Dec. 12 leaving work at Lake Union Wholesale Florist. They drove away in Ortiz’s pickup, which was found a few days later in a Kent apartment complex.
