TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The Pierce County medical examiner’s office is investigating whether bones found near Harts Lake are human.
Sheriff spokesman Ed Troyer says there were found Thursday evening by hikers and secured overnight like a crime scene.
The News Tribune reports the site is off a hiking trail in the McKenna area close to Thurston County.
