Furlough Friday for nearly 27,000 Oregon workers

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Nearly 27,000 Oregon state employees will have an unpaid day off Friday.

KPTV reports it’s the ninth of 10 furlough days because of spending cuts. The last one in the current budget period will be May 20.
