SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Storm have signed center Ashley Robinson to a multi-year deal and announced that Australians Abby Bishop and Alison Lacey will not play with Seattle in 2011.
Robinson played in 30 games last season for the league champion Storm, mostly in a reserve role. She was acquired by Seattle in a trade with Chicago in 2006 and has been a key reserve since.
Bishop and Lacey will both train with the Australian National Team rather than participate in the 2011 WNBA season. Lacey was Seattle’s first-round pick in the 2010 draft.
