OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Olympia police are investigating an arson at one of their own substations.

A spokesman, Sgt. Dan Wojtech, told KOMO News an officer arrived at the west side station after 3 a.m. Wednesday smelled smoke and discovered a back door was scorched.

Investigators believe the fire was started with a flammable liquid.

The Olympian reports this is the second vandalism at the substation this month. On March 5, someone broke a window at the station and windows on two parked patrol cars.
