Bwana Babe wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Bwana Babe held off Dolce Pentimento by a half-length Wednesday in the $47,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

A 4-year-old trained by Rudy Rodriguez, Bwana Babe raced to her sixth win in 19 starts. Mike Luzzi was aboard as she ran 1 mile, 70 yards in 1:44.36 over the muddy track.

Bwana Babe paid $5.20, $3.20 and $2.30. Dolce Pentimento returned $7 and $4.80, and Kittylicious paid $3.20 to show.
