SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Jonathan Sanchez pitched six sharp innings to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 4-0 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night.

Sanchez allowed one hit in his fourth spring start — Chris Pettit’s sharp grounder off the glove of shortstop Miguel Tejada in the first inning. The left-hander struck out five, walked one and hit a batter with a pitch.

Pablo Sandoval and Pat Burrell each had a run-scoring double in San Francisco’s three-run fourth against Dan Haren.

Giants closer Brian Wilson, wearing green St. Patrick’s Day spikes, pitched a scoreless seventh inning, walking one batter.
