Frank sentenced in death of Simmons

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A Harrah man was sentenced to 70 months in prison for the death of Daniel Simmons in 2009.

U.S. Attorney Michael Ormsby announced that 21-year-old Johnathon Frank was sentenced in federal court for the assault and beating that led to Simmons’ death on the Yakama Indian Reservation.

Another defendant, Lance Frank, was sentenced to 90 months in January.
