BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise police say authorities in Seattle have arrested a man who is charged in Montana for assault on a woman and is also wanted in Idaho on a warrant for the theft of her car.
Police spokesman Charles McClure says Lloyd Hardin McNeil was arrested Friday in Seattle. He says he doesn’t have details on the arrest.
Boise police issued the warrant for McNeil in the theft of a car belonging to Natalie Davis, who was found dead March 5 in Boise.
McNeil is scheduled to stand trial April 19 in Montana for assault with a weapon, partner or family member assault and unlawful restraint. He is accused of choking Davis, slapping her face and hitting her in the hip with a large flashlight during a July 4 camping trip.
