BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) — The Pittsburgh Pirates say starter Brad Lincoln is expected to be fine after being hit on his pitching arm by a line drive.

Lincoln will miss his scheduled bullpen session Sunday. But the Pirates say he should be OK when the regular season begins in two weeks.

The former No. 1 draft pick was struck near his right elbow by Jimmy Rollins’ liner on Friday and came out of the game against Philadelphia.

Lincoln said Saturday that his arm was more stiff than a day earlier. He said there was no structural damage and that he still had plenty of arm strength.
