Felida — Jennifer Campos, a senior planner for the city of Vancouver, has joined the Bicycle Alliance of Washington board of directors. The Bicycle Alliance advocates for bicyclists and a bike-friendly state. The group was instrumental in bringing the Safe Routes to School program to Washington State and is responsible for developing a curriculum that teaches drivers how to safely interact with bikes and pedestrians.

Campos is the first Southwest Washington resident to serve on the board. She said she wants to “help keep our area better connected with what is going on statewide related to bicycle policy, programs, and projects and develop a stronger relationship between the Bike Alliance and Southwest Washington.”

Campos has been a bicycle and pedestrian planner for more than a dozen years.
