Washougal — Officer James Powers is a wanted man — America’s Most Wanted All-Stars, that is. The Washougal police officer saved a man’s life in October using the Heimlich maneuver and has been nominated for the 2011 All-Star award.

Besides working at the Washougal Police Department, Powers is a full-time paramedic with American Medical Response, a firefighter with Clark County Fire & Rescue and a reserve police officer for the La Center Police Department.

Powers must garner the most votes by April 2 to win $10,000 and a trip to the national NASCAR race. To cast your vote, you can visit the website by clicking here.
