KAHLOTUS, Wash. (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says weather has delayed the opening of the navigation lock at Lower Monumental Dam.

The lock was one of several closed Dec. 10 on the Columbia and Snake Rivers to allow replacement of gates and other repairs and maintenance.

The lock at Lower Monumental Dam was supposed to open Monday but is now scheduled to go back in operation Saturday.
