LA PINE, Ore. (AP) — A Deschutes County, Ore., sheriff’s officer says the body of a missing 58-year-old La Pine man has been found about 1,000 yards from where his pickup truck was located in La Pine State Park.

Capt. Marc Mills says Dean Marsh’s body was found Thursday afternoon. His truck was located several hours earlier.

Mills says there is no obvious cause of death. Sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate.

Marsh’s wife reported him missing Saturday. She said he told her he was going to get gasoline but didn’t return.

Family members say he lost his job recently but hadn’t shown signs of depression.
