LA PINE, Ore. (AP) — Search teams have found the body of a missing 58-year-old La Pine, Ore., man in the Deschutes River, about 1,000 yards downstream from where Dean Marsh’s pickup truck was parked in La Pine State Park.

Deschutes County sheriff’s Capt. Marc Mills said the body was found Thursday afternoon. Marsh’s truck was located several hours earlier.

Mills says there is no obvious indication of the cause of death but sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate. The county medical examiner plans an autopsy Friday.

Marsh’s wife reported him missing last Saturday. She said he told her he was going to get gasoline but didn’t return.

Family members say he lost his job recently but hadn’t shown signs of depression.
