YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — It took a superior court jury in Yakima just 25 minutes Thursday to acquit a man accused of having too many plants at a medical marijuana dispensary.

Prosecutors say Valtino Hicks had 201 plants growing at his Yakima home when it was raided in March 2010 — far in excess of the 15-plant limit.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports Hicks provided a place where others could grow marijuana and the home was promoted on a website.
