Dungey wins AMA Supercross race in Toronto,0750

TORONTO (AP) — Ryan Dungey raced to his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross victory of the year Saturday night, beating Chad Reed in front of 45,217 fans at Rogers Centre.

Dungey, the Suzuki rider from Belle Plaine, Minn., is third in the season standings with 216 points after 12 of 17 races. Reed tops the standings with 236, three more than Ryan Villopoto.

Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson, from Menifee, Calif., won the Supercross Lites race.
